- Senior Risk framework SME role
- Agile, rapidly transforming company with strong leadership and team
- Sydney Based. 12-16 month contract initially. Up to $220k package.
Lead the overhaul of risk practices, designing fit for purpose risk frameworks. Provide expert guidance and support to risk and compliance leadership teams, project directors, line 1 & 2 stakeholders, and board/risk committee members. Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and drive effective design, implementation and embedment of the Operational Risk Management Framework.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in risk management, preferably within the banking or other highly regulated financial services industry.
- Must be an SME in risk frameworks and be able to work quickly and effectively to build maturity.
- Solid understanding of relevant laws and regulations, industry codes, standards, prudential requirements.
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills with the ability to build effective workplace relationships.
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and be able to demonstrate sound judgment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- A passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering solutions that meet the needs of customers.
