  • Broad operations remit, supporting junior team member with day-to-day activities.

The Role

You will oversee daily operations across an assigned client and fund portfolio, reviewing trust constituent documents and working with the team to establish governance and compliance frameworks for new funds. You will manage deal activity including acquisitions, divestments, refinancing, capex and capital calls, and liaise with and monitor service providers responsible for accounts, tax returns, BAS, investor income reports and other mandatory reporting.

You will also support, lead, develop and mentor junior team members, and contribute to ongoing systems and process improvement initiatives.

What skills and experience will you need
  • Extensive operational and/or client management experience across corporate trusts, funds management or  managed investments schemes.
  • A background directly relating to the role is ideal but will also consider lawyers, fund accountants or tax professionals from big 4/mid-tier consulting firms as long as you are working across trusts/funds.
  • Client or account management experience and comfortable overseeing service providers against SLAs and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to engage effectively at a senior level.
  • Highly principled, with sound judgement and the ability to lead and develop a team.
