We are seeking a driven & proactive auditor with strong technical & communication skills. An exciting opportunity for you to bring your expertise to the table, drive compliance, and contribute to a growing team.
Reporting directly to the Head of Internal Audit, you'll play a critical role in delivering key business outcomes, conducting audits, & help shape the future of the audit function.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits aligned with the Internal Audit Plan, providing practical insights to stakeholders.
- Work closely with various teams to support compliance and foster continuous improvement.
- Proactively stay updated on regulatory changes and help align audit practices with these requirements.
- Support CPS230 compliance preparation and implementation.
- Draft detailed audit reports, offering actionable recommendations to enhance operations and compliance measures.
- Contribute to the design and development of internal functions, including creating new templates and reports.
- Engage in succession planning, setting the groundwork for a sustainable team structure.
- Proven experience in internal auditing ideally within Insurance otherwise an APRA regulated industry
- Self-starter, proactive and self-motivated with the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of prudential standards and operational requirements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a desire to bring fresh thinking to the table.
